Coaches we are in need of your assistance with this process. With the number of fields we must set-up each weekend it has become more difficult to set-up and take down fields for each game/site and we need your help. We will provide a first game/last game schedule for each weekend indicating what coach is responsible for field set-up which includes positioning goals, sandbags, and corner flags and a last game coach for field takedown which includes removing goals and sandbags and returning them to their typical storage area. The corner flags can be placed near the goals if at Mitchell-Ellington or in the Men's bathroom at the other games sites. A board member will later place them in the locked storage areas when the bathrooms and facilities are secured at the end of the day.
It generally takes 2 people to help set-up a field if your team is playing 6v6 or greater so we suggest coaches ask a team parent or two to assist in advance to lend a hand. All that is required for the 4v4 fields is to position the goals onto the field and to move them off once the final game has concluded since corner flags are not utilized.
Board members will be unlocking the bathroom facilities at each respective site as well as securing them at the end of the day.
